Adriana Błażej – psychologist, counselor

• Adults and Adolescents Counseling

”I work with adolescents (15+) and adults using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools. I offer support in the following areas: neurodiversity – coping with core symptoms of ADHD and ADS, eating disorders, psychosomatic symptoms, obsessive thoughts and compulsions, difficult family relationships, parentification, chronic shame, anxiety, stress management and others.
Continual professional development and acquiring new knowledge are essential ethical principles in my practice. I have completed numerous trainins to improve my therapeutic skills, including those related to Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eating Disorders Treatment, and working with individuals with ADHD and ASD.

    My education and professional experience

I am a psychologist (MA, SWPS University) and an anthropologist (MA, Jagiellonian University). I also hold a Professional Coach Certificate accredited by Izba Coachingu (Polish Chamber of Coaching), obtained from the Institute of Psychoeducation and Integral Development in Kraków.
I have gained and developed my experience through cooperation with various non-governmental organizations, including Pandora Foundation, Wise Future University Foundation, and Development Space Foundation, which runs the Social Integration Center, where I am a supported employment trainer.
For several years, I have also been running my own practice, supporting clients in discovering and strengthening the competencies they need in the process of change. I facilitate psychoeducational workshops and webinars, mainly addressed to neurodivergent individuals. I gained clinical experience during an internship at the Dr. J. Babiński Psychiatric Hospital, at the Day Psychiatric Rehabilitation Ward for Children and Adolescents. At SWPS University, I co-founded the student research group “PsychoLOgiczni”, focused on youth psychoeducation. As part of this project, I conducted psychoeducational classes in high schools.
